Strategic Planning

As we prepare for our 50th anniversary in 2019, Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities is proud to embrace a strategic direction that incorporates the hearts and minds of a broad-based constituency.

TLC is represented in this plan which incorporates feedback received during a comprehensive process originally initiated in 2013. We are excited to announce that we are currently in the process of strategizing our second phase of three-year planning: 2017-2020. Again, we have invited participation from a broad audience, including: the individuals we serve and their family members, senior leaders, strategic management team members, all staff, Board of Directors and Endowment Board members, and community leaders including government representatives and current donors/partners. Participation opportunities include the distribution of surveys as well as the initiation and facilitation of both formal and informal meetings and retreats. One of the many exciting outcomes of this process was a comprehensive SWOT Analysis that was utilized for strategic planning.

Our current focus and our vision for the future are reflected in our mission statement and in our strategic priorities and goals. Our continued appreciation goes out to all who are part of the expanding effort to celebrate and support the growing number of families in Wake County served by Tammy Lynn Center. Our hearts and minds take focus here.
